Saturday Breakfast

Saturday morning, I felt like to make some delicious wafer breakfast. I cut up bananas and strawberries, and I had blueberry yogurt ready. The combination of fruits looked so beautiful so I decided to take some pictures.

Certainly, the wafer on my plate looked so nice that would be the picture on my blog. When I was taking the picture, my dear husband had an objection! He believed that his plate looked better, and it should be the picture for my blog.

So, I have to put both pictures here.

Which picture looks nicer to you? Fruit on top or yogurt on top?

Lasagna

Cooking became time consuming to me. Also, I am tired of all the repeating recipes. Just thinking about I haven’t tried new recipes for a long time, I had this lasagna at my friend’s house. It was delicious!

Lasagna supposes a very simple dish to make. I never make it myself. So, I called my friend for the recipe, and went to grocery store bought ingredients. It turned out great…. Well, there are some improvements for next time, of cause. Considering first try, I am happy the outcome.

品嚐芝加哥

芝加哥有很多很好的，不同特色的各國的美食餐廳；但芝加哥本身也有很有特色的美食－如果你能稱比薩，pizza，是美食的話。

芝加哥pizza的特色是麵皮厚（deep dish），在餡料和起司之上再加上一層薄薄的麵皮，再鋪上比薩醬，這樣的芝加哥pizza就是＂stuffed pizza＂。真是好吃。尤其是咬下去時，起司會拔絲，太過癮了。算來，這是十年來第二次點Chicago Pizza。

另外一樣，就是芝加哥熱狗。它和其他的熱狗不同的是，用綠色pickle relish，而且，不能加番茄醬。老實說，對我而言，熱狗不加番茄醬就不那麼好吃。我在Taste Chicago點了一個芝加哥熱狗，失望極了。沒什麼特別的嘛。

Taste Chicago 有芝加哥的各國的美食餐廳的攤位，大家選各自所愛，邊走邊吃，還有音樂可以聽，毎毎造成擁擠的人潮。我們去的那天下個毛毛雨，所以不用跟人家擠來擠去。算是挺幸運的。
